Complete guide to the Kasyro POS system. From first login to shift closing.
Kasyro lets you apply discounts to individual order items as well as to the entire tab. You enter a discount through a dialog with a numpad — just type a number and pick the discount type.
Vouchers and coupons are electronic coupons with a unique code. They are managed in the More > Vouchers and Coupons section.
Customers are managed in the Catalog > Customers section (the Customers tab in the Catalog). The customer database lets you assign customers to tabs and track their purchases. The tab is only visible when the Customers module is enabled.
Internal accounts are used to record employee consumption or other internal expenses. They let you separate these transactions from regular sales and track them independently. The feature is available only when the Internal Accounts module (moduleInternalAccounts) is active in Settings > Company > Modules.
Kasyro supports printing receipts, kitchen order tickets, closeouts, vouchers, and reports. Two types of printers are available — a thermal printer (for receipts and tickets) and an A4 printer (for reports).
Reservations are used to manage table reservations. The screen is available from the More > Reservations menu.
The Settings screen opens by clicking the Settings button (gear icon) on the main screen. Settings are accessible to all signed-in users regardless of role — but the individual tabs inside are still protected by permissions. On the left is a sidebar with six groups: Company, Finance, Venue, Register, System, and My Account. Clicking an item in the sidebar displays the corresponding content on the right. On narrow screens, the sidebar appears as a slide-out drawer.
The customer display is a secondary screen (monitor or tablet) that shows the customer the current state of their order in real time. The display is read-only — the customer cannot perform any actions on it (except disconnecting with a triple tap).
The Data screen is used to manage your company's data — exporting reports and catalogs, importing data from external files, and backing up the entire database. Open it from the main navigation: More > Data.
This chapter answers the most common questions and issues you may encounter when working with Kasyro.
Kasyro offers three plans: Free, Premium, and Enterprise. The core of the app (sales, catalog, inventory, statistics) is free with no feature limitations. The paid plans add device sync, cloud backups, an AI assistant, email support, and automated email rules.
