Subscription

Kasyro offers three plans: Free, Premium, and Enterprise. The core of the app (sales, catalog, inventory, statistics) is free with no feature limitations. The paid plans add device sync, cloud backups, an AI assistant, email support, and automated email rules.

Subscription management is handled in Settings → Subscription (requires the settings_company.cloud permission, typically the Admin role).

Free

A new company always starts on Free. Characteristics:

  • 1 device (Free does not support sync, so additional devices won't receive data — even if you install the app on a second computer, you'd have two independent installations).
  • Data is stored locally only — if the device is lost or destroyed, your data is lost unless you have a local backup (a .kasyro file).
  • Registration (email + password) is required — it lets you upgrade to Premium later without losing data.

⚠️ Important: If you use Free, make a local backup regularly from the Office → Data → Backup menu (or the equivalent menu for your mode). Exporting a .kasyro file preserves all your data for recovery.

Premium

The paid subscription adds:

  • Data sync across all of the company's devices in real time.
  • Multi-device operation — an unlimited number of registers, KDS, and customer displays.
  • AI assistant for fast navigation and data editing.
  • Automated email rules — scheduled sending of Z-reports, low-stock alerts, and more.
  • Cloud backups — data is automatically backed up to the server thanks to sync.
  • Email support — we respond within 24 hours on business days.
  • Priority bug fixes — reported issues are addressed first.

Enterprise

Combines all Premium features and adds:

  • Individual SLA support.
  • Visual customization (branding).
  • API access for integration with accounting/ERP systems.

Activating Premium / Enterprise

To switch from Free to Premium you need an activation code, which you receive after placing an order.

Where to get an activation code

  • Online orderwww.kasyro.com/pricing — full pricing and online payment. After payment you'll receive a code by email.
  • Directly from the app — in Settings → Subscription you'll find a "Buy a license on kasyro.com" button that opens the pricing page in your browser.
  • Enterprise — individual quote via info@kasyro.com.

Activation steps

  1. Open Settings → Subscription.
  2. Click the Activation code field and enter the code you received.
  3. Press Activate.

After a successful activation:

  • The status immediately changes to Premium (or Enterprise, depending on the code type).
  • Data sync with the server begins (local data is uploaded to the server).
  • All Premium features unlock (AI, customer display, email rules).

Validity and expiration

  • An activation code has its own validity period (typically 30, 90, or 365 days).
  • The duration is added to your current expiration — renewing before expiry doesn't forfeit the remaining days.
  • The expiration date is shown in Settings → Subscription next to the plan badge.
  • A pre-expiry banner appears 7 days before expiration.
  • Grace period — for 7 days after expiration everything works normally, just with a red warning. You can pay at any time.
  • After the grace period — sync turns off and the AI assistant is blocked. Sales keep working on the main register.

Main register after expiration

When the subscription stops being valid after the grace period:

  • The main register (marked with a star) keeps running as Free — sales, catalog, inventory. Without sync and AI.
  • Other devices (additional registers, KDS, customer display) are locked until renewal or until the main register is switched.
  • A prompt banner reminds you to renew the subscription.

Switching the main register

If the main device is damaged or lost, you can switch the main register to another one. This requires an internet connection (it can't be done offline). Currently this operation is available only through support — contact us at info@kasyro.com with the company ID and the register that should take over as the main one. A UI for switching this directly in the app is planned for a future version.

Switching back to Free

If you decide not to continue with Premium after expiration, you can switch to Free:

  1. Settings → Subscription.
  2. The Switch to Free section (shown only after expiration).
  3. Confirm.

After switching:

  • Data stays locally on the main register.
  • Sync is permanently turned off.
  • Other devices remain locked (they're beyond the Free 1-device limit).

Note: Switching to Free is irreversible in the sense that additional devices will no longer work until you upgrade to Premium again. The data on them stays unchanged, but it won't be available through sync.

Demo mode

To try out Kasyro without registering, there's a demo:

  1. On the welcome screen, click Try without an account.
  2. Choose a mode (restaurant / retail) and a language.
  3. The demo has Premium features except the AI assistant.
  4. The demo company is automatically deleted after 6 hours.

Data from demo mode cannot be transferred to a real company — the demo is purely for getting familiar with the app.

Frequently asked questions about subscriptions

Where do I order Premium or Enterprise? Online via www.kasyro.com/pricing (Premium). Arrange Enterprise by email at info@kasyro.com. In the app, you'll find the "Buy a license" button in the Settings → Subscription section (Free tier).

What are the prices? You'll find current pricing at www.kasyro.com/pricing.

When does my status change? Activation is instant. After you enter the code, the status changes within a few seconds and Premium features unlock.

Can I buy a shorter extension? Yes, any duration — 30, 90, 180, 365 days. Or multiple activations over time.

How is Enterprise paid for? Enterprise has individual pricing terms arranged directly with the customer.

What if I pay for Premium and then want Enterprise? An activation code with the Enterprise tier switches the company to Enterprise. Cross-tier activation starts its validity from the moment of activation (it doesn't carry over remaining Premium days).

Can I switch Enterprise back to Premium? No, downgrading from Enterprise to Premium is not allowed. Enterprise can only be switched to Free after expiration.

Can I get an invoice? Yes, invoicing is handled separately through email support when you order a code.

Can I cancel Premium during a paid period? The app lets you switch to Free only after expiration or the grace period (7 days after expiry). For a refund during a paid period, contact support at info@kasyro.com.
