Kasyro was born because we were fed up with overpriced POS systems, hidden fees and support that costs more than the software itself.
Why Kasyro exists
We believe a POS system shouldn't be a source of headaches and endless invoices. It should be a tool that simply works — fast, reliably and at a fair price. That's why Kasyro is completely free and you only pay for what actually costs money: servers for sync, storage for backups and people for support.
How it started
It all started in a small cafe in Bohumín. The owner was paying 24,000 CZK a year for a POS system where every little thing cost extra. Windows update broke the software? Annual support fee — even if it was December. Or a one-time 2,000 CZK for "license reactivation". New module for meal vouchers? Another fee. Data export? Surcharge. Frustration grew, but alternatives looked the same. So we decided to build one. We teamed up with developers who understand both hospitality and technology, and started building the POS we'd want to use ourselves — fast, offline-first, with an order display and complete inventory management. And above all, fair.
